Accepting pilot partners

Help us build something calmer

We’re looking for shelters and rescues to partner with during our pilot phase. Tell us how your team works today, and we’ll show you what Heelr can do.

Request Early Access

Tell us a bit about your shelter. We’ll follow up within a few days.

What pilot partners get

We’re building this with you, not for you.

Free access during pilot

The pilot is free. We’re still figuring out the product — your feedback is worth more than a subscription.

Direct line to the team

Email the person who wrote the code. Responses within a day, usually faster.

Shape the product

If something doesn’t fit how your team works, we want to know. Pilot shelters shape what gets built next.

Onboarding support

We’ll help get your team set up, import your dogs, and make sure the first week goes smoothly.

How it works

From first email to first walk logged — here’s what to expect.

You reach out

Fill out the form above or email us directly. Tell us about your shelter and how your team works today.

We have a conversation

A quick call or email thread. We want to know what your day looks like and where things fall through the cracks.

We set you up

Your shelter account gets created. We’ll import your dogs and walk through the dashboard with your staff.

Your team starts using it

Volunteers start logging walks and activities. We check in regularly to hear what’s working and what isn’t.

Common questions

How much does it cost?
Nothing during the pilot. We’re focused on getting the product right, not revenue. If and when we introduce paid plans, pilot partners will always be taken care of.
Do we need to install anything?
Nope. Heelr runs in the browser — any phone, tablet, or computer. No app store downloads, no IT department required.
How long does setup take?
Most shelters are up and running within a day. We handle the initial dog import and walk your team through the basics. From there, volunteers can start logging right away.
What if we already use shelter management software?
Heelr handles daily activity tracking — walks, playgroups, enrichment. It doesn’t replace your shelter management system. They do different jobs.
We’re a small rescue, not a big shelter. Is Heelr for us?
Yes. Whether you have 10 dogs or 200, the question is the same: did every dog get out today, and how did it go? We’d love to hear how your rescue works.

Not sure yet?

That’s fine. Send us an email and we’ll answer whatever you want to know.
